I was neither born in Japan nor have I ever been there (altough I would love to go). I have had very little formal schooling in Japanese (a class that met almost every week for a few months out of the year); what Japanese I do know is a result of intensive self-study for the past three years (and lots of anime and manga ^_^). None of the translation work I have ever done has ever been for profit; all such projects were done due to my own personal interest or requests from friends. The only real evidence I can give that this translation is not mere bull is essentially my own word and various dictionary entries. In short, I am not a professional translator. Yet.
