The speedy blue hedgehog has returned to console stardom once again. We have all waited awhile for Sonic to arrive, but not without a few flaws. Some of the flaws hinder the potentially great gameplay. You might even think that Sonic has come back a little too soon.

There is a good story at the base of the game. Good eye candy can always bring a game to life. Sonic has plenty of really good eye candy. They did a really great job bringing Sonic and his pals into a 3D world. The Graphics are really silky smooth and really show off the Dreamcast abilities. But bottom line, there seems to be something lacking with the game. The eye candy that can make a game can also distract the gamer as well. The game just seems rough. You are playing the game because you love Sonic and that goes a long way.
