Putting a very unique spin on role-playing comes Seventh
Cross. In this game you start out as a little tiny creature, and
by fighting and eating you evolve into higher evolutions, and gain
new body parts to equip to the point you can even be a naked human
walking around killing things... but from what is a very promising
concept comes a very boring game.
When I first turned this game on I thought, "this
game is gonna be so cool!", and went on thinking that for about
5 hours of play. Then it hit me... I was in denial. This was one
of the most boring things I've ever done in my life. Almost no background
music, very repitive gameplay, and a trial and error evolution system.
This can make for a very long and annoying game. I didn't even get
out of the initial lake by the time I realized this, so I gave the
game another chance, and kept playing till I finally did make it
out of the initial lake. And guess what I found? An ocean floor
area, so pointlessly huge there was VERY significant slow down on
the Dreamcast! There is simply no excuse for areas that pointlessly
huge. I wandered around lost for 2 hours before I finally found
the exit to go back and save!

Unless you have a lot of time on your hands you don't know what
to do with, skip this game.
