  Faust's Translation and FAQ for Sangokushi 6,
  which is the Japanese version of the popular
  strategy series Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

  This Translation is no where even close to complete...
  I still have a lot of in game translations to do, but I think
  Ive got character creation covered pretty well, except for
  one or two fields that I have yet to figure out.

  I apologize for the annoying layout this FAQ is in,
  Im working on finding a better layout every time I
  update this FAQ.

  Also, I suck with Kanji... if I didnt have the dictionaries
  I have, I would never have even gotten this far on
  translations... anyways, to get to the point, if you see
  a Kanji that is wrong, e-mail me! And for that matter,
  e-mail me about anything wrong with the Japanese
  in this FAQ, as I am very new to the language, and
  know very little of the actual "mechanics" of it.

  *** I M P O R T A N T ***************************
  A Japanese Text Viewer of some sort is required  
  to read this FAQ correctly... Some of the best   
  are NJWin available at http://www.njstar.com and 
  the built in Japanese support of MSIE 5.0, which 
  of course is available at www.microsoft.com. The 
  MSIE 5 Jap support is suggested, as some of the  
  Jap Decoders can show the text weird, and make it
  do things like run off the screen or "glitch-up" 
  when you scroll, select text, or do anything else
  on the page.

##### MAIN MENU TRANSLATIONS #####
      There are three options on the start screen:
                New Game
                Load Game
                Create Character

      New Game will send you to two more options:
                通常シナリオ          Standard Scenario
                シヨートシナリオ      Short Scenario

      Selecting either Scenario option will send you to a list of Scenarios.
      I will have these, and their names up soon.

    LOAD GAME TRANSLATIONS

      This screen is simply a graphic of the the VMS(s) available, simply
      choose which and load the file.

##### CREATE A CHARACTER TRANSLATIONS #####

      The 4 options it gives are as follows:

        男 - Number of Male Generals Created

        --Create Character--
        You create your character's attributes in the following order:
         First Name >> Last Name >> "Signature" >> (See Note 1) >> Portrait >>
         ??? >> Year of Birth >> ??? >> Type >> Statistics

         NOTE: To change your character's gender press the "X" Button
         on the portrait select screen.

         NOTE 1: This text is the hiragana spelling of any Kanji used in the character's
         name. I am not completly sure of this, but it seems to be pretty common practice
         in things like instruction booklets and such, so it may carry over to the game here.
         As I said at the beginning of this FAQ, I know actually very little about Japanese,
         this is mainly trial and error guess work, and looking up words in the dictionary...

        Also, for those of you that might be able to help, here is what
        I have so far of the attribute that has the 9 buttons in different
        color gradients... they dont really make much sense, except
        for they lead me to believe it is something along the lines of
        ruling style, personality, or rank... (??) means a Kanji I havent
        found in the dictionary yet.

        --Character Edit--

          Choose an attribute and it will edit it. See the "Create
          Character" section above for reference as to what the
          different attributes are.

        --Delete Character--

          Select the characters you want to delete and then choose
          the button on the bottom to delete them.

        --Load Character Data--

          Brings up a list of Memory Card slots. This will load the characters
          from a save file.
