This game is the illegitimate child of 2d and 3d gameplay. You don't jump, you don't "sidestep", nor anything besides fly around. It's like someone took an overhead view then flipped the graphics so they were viewed from the side. This does make for a very fun and interesting game however.

There are several flaws in the game, the most notable of which is the characters are unbalanced. Carlos, Wendy, and Setsuna players easily have advantages over all the other characters(except the secret characters who are all even more powerful than Carlos, Wendy, and Setsuna). This can create very difficult 1p and 2p matches, that often end in you either telling your friend he is cheating, or crying that your Dreamcast hates you and wants you dead.

Psychic Force is definitly a fun game, but not as good as other arcade to Dreamcast conversions such as Power Stone and Marvel Vs. Capcom.
